Daventry found Wellingborough in good form Phil Daynes team was 8-9 down after 11 ends only to drop 13 shots in the next 7 ends to lose 9-22. Peter Dymond had the same fate 8-8 after 11 ends to drop 13 shots losing 10-21. Terry Fullers away team had no answer to P Norman 8-20, Alan Davies put up a good fight to lose 13-17 giving Wellingborough overall win 40-80 to pick up maximum 6pts.
